Strength Training
If you would’ve told me two years ago that I would be using weights in my workout (multiple times a week at that) I would not have believed you for a second.
I believed that weights made you bulky, that they were only for men (how ignorant!!!), and on top of it all I was intimidated on how to navigate using them. Now I’m here to tell you that I wish I started sooner.
Weight/Strength training is so important for building muscle which is crucial for a myriad of reasons. Building muscle is critical for women for the following reasons:
Obvious point - BUILD MUSCLE
Bone health
As you build more muscle, you create a healthy metabolic routine
Stabilizes your mood
Increase flexibility/mobility.
