Pickled Onions
Easy, peasy, onion squeezy…
Pickled onions are a great garnish to nearly every dish and a great source of probiotics.
Ingredients:
1 red onion
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup warm water
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
Slice your red onion thinly or use a mandolin. Put the onion in a jar and add the vinegar, water, salt and sugar. Shake it up, then refridgerate. Let it pickle for at least 2 hours before enjoying!
